The certifications that count
ISO 9001 — quality as a system
The foundation of any serious supplier. It guarantees a documented and audited quality management system. VRI has held ISO 9001 since 1998.
ISO 13485 — the gateway to medical
Specific to medical devices, it adds extended traceability, risk management and process validation. Without it, you cannot produce for the healthcare sector. VRI has been certified since 2017.
IPC-A-610 and IPC-620 — the workbench standard
These are the acceptance criteria that define what a "good" solder joint and assembly look like. IPC-A-610 covers electronic assemblies; IPC-620, cables and harnesses.
